Stand up straight with feet hip width apart. Start to bend your knees and push back with the hips, tucking in the pelvis (as though you are sitting in a chair) and raise your arms to shoulder height in front of you and hold. This will strengthen your quads.
Sitting up straight in a chair with feet and hip width apart, raise your arms straight to either side at shoulder height. Bend forward slightly at the hips and twist your torso to the left keeping a straight back and arms straight, touch your right hand to left ankle and raise left arm in the air, relax the shoulders and look up towards the raised arm.
Repeat on opposite side, twisting to the right and touching your left arm to the right ankle raising your right arm in the air.
